Bahçeşehir University hosted the fifth Early Career Researcher Workshop (ECRW) under the Jean Monnet Chair on Feminist Epistemic Justice in the EU and Beyond (FEJUST). Conducted online via Microsoft Teams, this closed session brought together a limited group of FEJUST team members, collaborators, and CIFAL Istanbul representatives. Unlike previous workshops, participation was not open to the public, creating a focused space for in-depth exchange.
The workshop provided a collaborative platform for undergraduate and early-career researchers to present and refine their work on gender, populism, and conservatism in European politics. Through student-led presentations and discussions, participants critically engaged with the intersections of power, patriarchy, and feminist epistemic justice. This initiative continues FEJUST’s mission of broadening EU studies by embracing feminist and decolonial perspectives while nurturing inclusive and intergenerational dialogue.
